iii) RANGE/SCALE

This key is used to change from automatic to manual scale mode. The default conditions correspond to the automatic scale mode.

iv) HOLD

This key has two functions: one is Holding and another one is the upward or increase function. The upward function is used for time and memory applications.

The HOLD function is used to fix the measured value at the time the key is pressed.

With the key pressed, hold pointer turns on and the secondary counter presents the actual value.

v) DISPLAY LIGHT

This key illuminates the display. A first push turns on the  light and a second one turns it off.

vi) MENU FUCTIONS

Push once to enter  the menu mode. Pushing longer than 1 second cancels the menu mode. When pushing this key, all the menu indicators MIN/MAX/AVG/REL/MEM/KEEP-ON/RS232C appear immediately and only the selected indicator blinks.

MAX/MIN/AVG - These are functions to get the maximum, minimum and average values. The relative mode (REL) gives  percentage deviation (D) of the data between the background displayed value and the reference value settled with the HOLD key.

MEM – Allows to memorize ten measurements recyclable by using the up (5) and down (6) keys.

KEEP ON -  Allows keeping on the device, disabling auto power off.

RS232 - This function mode is independent of other modes and functions (explanation  further down).

vii) ON/OFF

General power switch- the life time of battery is about 2 months of continuous use.
